Time to Read

The boys and girls in 2nd class took part in an initiative called "Time to Read" during this school year. It involved partnering with a local company, in our case, FEXCO. Volunteers from FEXCO visited the school once a week over a period of 20 weeks and read with the children. The children also visited FEXCO along with a visit to our local library. The children thoroughly enjoyed this experience and we feel that they have benefited enormously from the initiative. Confidence levels have increased along with an obvious improvement in reading and the enjoyment of same. We are very grateful to FEXCO for their involvement and are delighted to have made new friends along the way.
