Glounaguillagh National School has been delivering an outstanding education to those in its care since 1887.

 

Glounaguillagh National School is a Catholic School under the patronage of the Bishop of Kerry.

 

Glounaguillagh N.S. consists of six mainstream classes, one full time Special Education Teacher and also access to a shared Special Education Teacher.

Glounaguillagh N.S. is co-educational from Junior Infants to Sixth Class.

 

The curriculum is presented in six subject areas, some of which are further sub-divided into subjects. These are Language (Gaeilge and English), Mathematics, Social Environmental and Scientific Education (History, Geography and Science), Art Education (Visual Arts, Music and Drama), Physical Education and Social, Personal and Health Education.
