Christmas in Glounaguillagh

There was fierce excitement in the school today when we began to put up the Christmas decorations. Christmas trees, garlands, lanterns and cribs can now be seen throughout the school.

The Junior Infants helped Mrs. O'Mahony to put the finishing touches to the main school Christmas tree as each helped to put a bauble on.

Finally, Mia Robertson, our youngest student, helped Mrs. O'Mahony to put the Christmas star on the top of the Christmas tree.

Jingle Bells was sung as the lights were turned on throughout the corridors.

The Infants visited to crib before leaving this afternoon to view the important characters we have been talking about in preparation for our upcoming Christmas concert.
