Halloween Lanterns

Last week we made Halloween Paper Lanterns. We used orange card as that is the colour most often associated with Halloween. We folded our sheet of orange paper in half lengthways.

Then we cut slits all along the length of the folded piece of paper. We tried our best not to cut right to the edges!

Then we opened the piece of paper out and rolled it into a lantern shape. Miss O'Sullivan and Teresa helped us to secure our lantern together.
